The University

A research-led school in Ireland's south.

The UCC School of Medicine offers both a 5-year undergraduate programme and a 4-year postgraduate programme. Postgraduate students merge with undergraduates in the second term of Year 2 — sharing the same clinical experiences, examinations and final MB BCh BAO degree.

Graduates are conferred with a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO). This degree is recognised as a registrable medical qualification under the Singapore Medical Council's Second Schedule.

UCC is Ireland's premier research institution. Every medical student completes a research project during their final two years — many go on to present at national and international meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

The School of Dental Science offers a 5-year undergraduate programme leading to a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), registrable under the Singapore Dental Council's List of Registrable Degrees.
